The Kraft's on their life journey

The Krafty Travel Life

Holly Point State campground at Falls Lake

I am going to start a blog – as we get ready to set off on a new journey in our life together. Selling our houses, putting our belongings into storage and in to our RV we go. Planning to hit the road around April 16, 2012. First stop Lake Havasu for a week just to get situated in the RV.  We will hit the Nascar race in Talladega and Charlotte North Carolina and sooner or later will be on our way to some beautiful Florida beaches. I want to blog our journey and post our pictures – some of my friends say they would like to live vicariously through me, so here is their chance. Join us for this journey – The Krafty RV Life.  Sooner than later I am sure we will move out of the RV and jump to a new continent EUROPE…  So during this RV journey I am sure we will be planning our Europe travels as well.  So please join us on this journey!

Just an update – it is now 2014 – we are still traveling – we have hit Europe now several times – Amsterdam now several times, Paris a few times, Rome, Costa del Sol Spain for two months in summer of 2014, Cannes, France for two months summer of 2013. And currently in Amsterdam for thirty days! Right now I am catching up on my blog – so stay tuned!

  1. I just fell upon your blog and I love it. I’m moving back to the Netherlands after a 3 month stint in Utrecht last year and this time I think I’m going to base myself in Amsterdam. I don’t know it as well as you do (yet) but your blogs are getting me more excited than I am already to move back! Under a month to go 🙂
Looking forward to reading more from you!

    • I am thinking of visiting Utrecht one day in the next couple weeks. That is where my grandmother was born. I have visited the train platform once, long enough to snap a picture of the sign.

If I were going to live in AMS – I would go to the “de Pijp” area…

      • Oh you should. Utrecht is like a smaller, prettier version of Amsterdam with far less tourists! I loved every minute of living there. My grandmother was born in Rotterdam 🙂 Thanks for the tip – why would you live in de Pijp?
